A point system will be used to determine the top finishers within each class in the series. Each competitor's three-race point total determines final series rankings. In case of a tie in point totals, the winner will be determined based on their place in the final race.

Participants must race in a minimum of two races to qualify for series' awards.

If inclement weather or some other circumstance requires us to postpone a race to another day, series points WILL be awarded at the make up race.

Points will be awarded to the top 20 male and female finishers in the following classes: Beginner Female, Beginner Male 34-Under, Beginner Male 35+, Beginner Male 40+, Beginner Male 45+, Sport Female, Sport Male 34-Under, Sport Male 35+, Sport Male 40+, Sport Male 45+, Expert Female, Expert Male 34-Under, Expert Male 35+, Expert Male 45+, Junior Open (14-18), Single-speed Open, Clydesdale

Points will be awarded as follows:

Pay-Dirt:

Earn free points by volunteering for any or all of the MORE Cranky Monkey Pay-dirt trail maintenance days and receive 5 points per work day towards your final series point total. Pay-dirt could be just enough to push you into an award! Four hours of work required for each maintenance day. Bring water and come prepared to get dirty. Pay Dirt Trail Maintenance Schedule

• Pay Dirt #1 @ Wakefield on Sun 7/18/10 from 9am-1pm - meet at the recycling bins.
• Pay Dirt #2 @ Fountainhead on Sat 7/31/10 from 9:30am-1:30pm - meet in the upper parking lot.
• Pay Dirt #3 @ Schaeffer Farms on Sun 8/1/10 from 9am-1pm - meet at the parking lot..
