The 2011 EX2 race season wrapped up yesterday with the running of the final 2011 Fall Backyard Burn Trail Running Race at Hemlock Overlook in Clifton, VA. Close to 300 racers enjoyed dry trail conditions and relatively warm December temperatures in the mid 50s as they negotiated a rugged and technical course littered with roots, rocks, and lung busting hills. Congratulations to everyone who took on the challenge of Hemlock and THANK YOU to all racers, volunteers, the park authority, and our sponsors for helping to make it all happen!
