A note on Race Passports:
In adventure racing, the race passport is usually a small book or single sheet of paper that informs racers about the course. Race passports might also contain other important information such as rules, forbidden areas, and cut-off times. They are sometimes used to keep track of a team's forward progress throughout the race.
It is important to keep your passport protected from the elements. Most teams use either freezer style, re-sealable plastic bags, or more industrial sized map cases (as used for canoeing and/or kayaking).
