| Waiver / Minimum Age: Adventure Racing is physically demanding and involves risks inherent to the sport, including risk of serious injury or death. Participants are responsible for assuring that they are physically fit. All participants are required to complete and sign a waiver and release form and submit this form with your registration. Participants under 18 years of age must have their parents/guardians sign this form. Participants must be at least 12 years old to participate in The Greenhorn Adventure Race.
Registration Policy: An individual may register a team without all racer data. However, we must receive all racer data at least 7 days before the event. All additional racer data must be sent via email to the following address: info@ex2adventures.com.
Refund policy: For pre-registered racers: your entry fee minus a $25 administrative fee will be refunded to requests sent at least one month before the original race date (no refunds for rain dates). 50% of your entry fee will be refunded to requests sent at least two weeks before the original race date (no refunds for rain dates). NO REFUNDS AFTER THIS DATE. Email all requests to the following address: info@ex2adventures.com. Please allow 2-4 weeks to process requests.
Transfer Policy: Entry fees may not be transferred to another racer or to another race, except for sold out races ONLY (see Transfer Policy for Sold Out Races below).
Transfer Policy for Sold Out Races: FOR SOLD OUT RACES ONLY, your entry may be transferred to another team if we receive written notice by midnight on 4/19/10. A $30 administrative transfer fee must be paid by the new team at check-in on race day. Requests MUST be sent from the team captain originally registered in the event. Email the request to the following address: info@ex2adventures.com. This email request MUST include the division for the new team as well as the following information for each member of the new team: name, mailing address, email address, phone, date of birth, gender, and t-shirt size. To guarantee the t-shirt size for the new racers, we must receive the transfer request at least 10 days prior to the event. Transfers will not be processed after 4/10/10. NO TRANSFERS ON RACE WEEKEND.
Substitution Policy: All (teams only) may substitute team members up to 7 days before the event. At least one team member from the originally registered team must compete on this team. Email requests to the following address: info@ex2adventures.com.
Division Change Policy: Teams/individuals may change divisions (within that event) up to 7 days before the event. Racers dropping into a lower price division will not receive refunds. Racers upgrading into a higher price division must pay the difference as of the date of notice. This payment will be collected on race day before you receive your race packet. Cancellation Policy: EX2 Adventures reserves the right to alter, postpone, or cancel any race for safety concerns, both natural and man made. Natural concerns may include severe weather (heavy rain, snow, tornados, hurricanes, flooding, severe heat/cold). Man made concerns may include increased security alerts or acts of terrorism. When possible, rain dates will be scheduled as a service to racers. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided for cancelled races or to those that cannot attend a rescheduled race.
