Sponsors help keep registration fees as low as possible and enable us to supply racers and volunteers with plenty of great swag. The Bike Lane Gearhead Giveaway - Get your gear at The Bike Lane! Race or volunteer with EX2 and you are eligible to win one of two $25 Bike Lane gift certificates given away at each of our 21 races. All racers and volunteers are eligible and you must be present at the awards ceremony to win. The Bike Lane is also giving away a $5 coupon (with no minimum purchase) to all race participants. These coupons will be inserted into all race packets and given to all volunteers.

Jeff Van Horn and the whole crew at VA Runner know running shoes and, more importantly, how to fit runners with the right shoe based on the gait and biomechanics of the individual runner. Baseball Bonanza! Extra, Extra, Get Your Nats Tickets at EX2!
How cool is this? All EX2 sponsors chipped in to buy tickets to the Washington Nationals - so we could give them away to you. We have a pair of tickets to randomly give away at every race until October….that’s 16 races! All racers and volunteers are eligible and you must be present at the awards ceremony to win.

Accelerade

By supplying Accerade products at our events, we are definitely taking it up a notch in 2011. Accel Gel and Accelerade will be supplied at some of our longer endurance races.

Accelerade Giveaway – In addition to benefitting from all the Accelerade products supplied at our aid stations, we are going to randomly give away Accelerade products at our awards ceremonies. All racers and volunteers are eligible and you must be present at the awards ceremony to win.

Drink More Water Hydration Pack Giveaway – Drink More Water is committed to help you achieve peak performance by, well, drinking more water. Dr. Kathy Coutinho, is the local ‘chiropractor to the athletes’. POW-High Energy Recovery Chiropractic
Dr. Cheryl Lee-Pow (c_leepow@yahoo.com), owner of POW-HER Chiropractic, is a huge sports fan and has a wide array of experience supporting amateur, collegiate, and professional athletes. She has provided chiropractic care to the Buffalo Bandits Professional Lacrosse Team, Division I Track & Field Championships, US National Taekwondo Championships, the Washington DC Divas professional football team, the Dew Tour, and since 2008, athletes that compete in EX2 races. Recovery Tent – Dr. Kathy Coutinho and/or Dr. Cheryl Lee-Pow and their staffs’ will be on hand at all races in 2011 offering up their chiropractic, massage, active release therapy, and first aid services to all comers. Stop by the ‘Recovery Tent’ after each race to take advantage of these FREE services. In addition, they have offered to generously give away gift certificates for FREE massages and chiropractic exams.

Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services (SEAVS)
Dr. Scott Stahl, a longtime Cranky Monkey racer, mountain biking fan, and the owner of SEAVS (Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services) has been a sponsor of EX2 for several years. Scott first approached EX2 with the desire to help deepen the awards from 3 to 5 deep. With his financial support, we were able to do this without raising our registration fees.
