Register with Active.com - Preferred method of registration!

Thanks to Active.com you may register for an individual race or the entire series and pay online. Active.com charges a small fee for this convienence (6.5% + $1).

Register via Mail

Via mail by printing the Backyard Burn SPRING Registration Form (PDF) and or
Backyard Burn FALL Registration Form (PDF) and sending a check made payable to:
EX2 Adventures.

Entry Fee Includes

Fun and challenging course design, professional race operations, wonderful volunteer support, aid stations (stocked with water and gatorade), medical support, accurate results, timely posting of results on the EX2 website, plentiful post-race food, electric atmosphere, great music, awards, and colorful t-shirts (one/person for the series. see below).

T-Shirts

All racers that register at least 10 days before the event are guaranteed a t-shirt in their specified size. In an attempt to predict racer participation, we will order some additional t-shirts. However, those registering within 10 days of the event will receive t-shirts while supplies last. If we run out of t-shirts, you can choose one from our vintage stock. Racers registering for the series within 10 days of the first event might have to wait until the second race to pick up their t-shirt.

Hi-Res Photos on CD

Adventure Sports Photographer Will Ramos will take hundreds of photos at this race and for only $10, you can pre-order all of these hi-resolution photos on your own Photo CD. Make sure to check "YES!" to get your Photo CD delivered to you after the race. Save the memories and save some cash!

Will Ramos takes amazing photos. His images have been published numerous times in publications such as Sports Illustrated and Adventure Sports Magazine.

Note: Post-race price for this photo CD is $25. Photo CDs are usually shipped within 1 week of the race, but please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

Why Register Early?

• Pay less. The earlier you register, the more money you will save.
• Guarantee yourself a spot in the race. The race is limited to the first 300 racers.
