Fall Series - Race #1 - Lake Fairfax - Reston, VA |

Course Description (5.0 mile OR 10.0 mile option):
Lake Fairfax is a new addition to the Fall BYB series. Located in Reston, VA, this suburban park has a lake, huge fields, pavilions, and many newly designed trails that are sure to please. This fast and fun race course includes forested single-track, lakeside trails, and open fields. This new race will be crowd pleaser and a great addition to the Fall BYB series.

Fall Series - Race #2 - Laurel Hill - Lorton, VA |

Course Description (5.0 mile OR 10.0 mile option):
Located off !95 just south of the Capital Beltway, Laurel Hill is a new 1600 acre park standing on the grounds of the former Lorton Prison complex. This beautiful, fast, and fun race course includes a mixture of forested and open meadow single-track meadering through the grounds of this historic site. The inaugural race in 2011 was such a smashing success that it became an instant keeper.

Fall Series - Race #3 - Fountainhead - Fairfax Station, VA |

Course Description (5.0 mile OR 10.0 mile option):
Fountainhead Regional Park is situated along the banks of the Occoquan Reservoir in Western Fairfax County. This challenging race course is beautiful and consists mostly of hiking trails (including the Bull Run Occoquan Trail), horse trails, and old dirt roads. Competitors will run over rocks and roots, through several streams, and up some hills. This course was a new addition in 2006 and became an immediate hit.

Fall Series - Race #4 - Wakefield Park - Annandale, VA |

Course Description (5.5 mile OR 10.0 mile option):
Location, Location, Location. This race takes place just a stones throw from the Capital Beltway. The course is fast with mostly flat even terrain and only a few stream crossings. Competitors will run over cinder trails, under power lines, and along single-track. Wakefield is the backyard playground for many Northern Virginia runners, walkers, and mountain bikers. Bring family and friends to cheer you on, as this course is also spectator friendly.

Fall Series - Race #5 - Prince William Forest Park - Triangle, VA |

Course Description (5.1 mile OR 9.9 mile option):
With 15,000 acres, 37 miles of hiking trails, and 21 miles of biking accessible roads and trails, Prince William Forest Park offers the perfect setting for a trail running race. The largest park in the Washington DC metro area, this hidden gem lies just south of the city. This race course has it all, from single-track hiking trails to fire roads to open areas. Come experience the natural beauty and tranquility of this amazing park.

Fall Series - Race #6 - Hemlock Overlook - Clifton, VA |

Course Description (5.5 mile OR 10.3 mile option):
Hemlock Overlook, located along the banks of the historic Bull Run, feels surprisingly remote for being so close to Washington D.C. Sightings of deer, beaver, turkey, osprey and great blue heron are not uncommon in this 425 acre park. This racecourse consists mostly of hiking trails (including the Bull Run Occoquan Trail), old dirt roads, and open fields. Competitors will run over rocks and roots, cross a few streams, and up some hills. The course is designed to be spectator friendly with several areas designated for family and friends to cheer on their racers.
