The Fall BYB Trail Running Series - Point System

A point system will be used to determine the top finishers within each age group in both the 5 and 10 miles races. Each competitor's four-race point total determines final series rankings. In case of a tie in point totals, the winner will be determined based on their place in the final race.

Participants must race in a minimum of two races to qualify for series' awards.

In each race, points will be awarded to the top 20 male and female finishers in each age group.

Points will be awarded as follows:

1st place (50 pts.)	6th place (23 pts.)	11th place (11 pts.)	16th place (5 pts.)
2nd place (41 pts.)	7th place (20 pts.)	12th place (9 pts.)	17th place (4 pts.)
3rd place (35 pts.)	8th place (17 pts.)	13th place (8 pts.)	18th place (3 pts.)
4th place (30 pts.)	9th place (15 pts.)	14th place (7 pts.)	19th place (2 pts.)
5th place (26 pts.)	10th place (13 pts.)	15th place (6 pts.)	20th place (1 pt.)
