Thanks to Active.com you may register online for an individual race or both races in the series. Active.com charges a fee for this convenience (6.5% + $1). To avoid paying the convenience fee, print out the registration form and send in via the US mail.

Refund, Transfer & Cancellation Policies

* Optional Shuttle Service ($15/racer)

Since this is a linear race and the start and finish are not at the same location, we will have an optional shuttle available for racers. You are welcome to forgo this service and work out your own transportation with friends/family/fellow racers. The shuttle will take two trips, departing the race finish location (Fountainhead) at 8am and 11:45am. We will fill up the 8am shuttle first and then start taking reservations for the 11:45am shuttle. Those taking the 8am shuttle must arrive at the pick up point (Fountainhead) by 7:45am to park, grab your gear, and get on the shuttle for the 8am SHARP departure. Those taking the 11:45am shuttle will drive to and park at the start location (Hemlock), race, then take the shuttle back to their vehicles after the race. A final start list with your shuttle time will be posted on the EX2 website on the Friday before the race, 9/17/10. Racers registering on race day must take the 11:45am shuttle (space permitting). The shuttle can carry up to 42 passengers and the shuttle will take approximately 25 minutes. Check-in will take place at the race start location (Hemlock Overlook). EX2 will also have a system in place to transport your labeled bag from the start (check-in) to the finish.

Procedure for Shuttle

8am shuttle riders: park vehicle at Fountainhead Regional Park before race then take shuttle to race start (check-in) at Hemlock Overlook. 11:45am shuttle riders: park vehicle at race start (check-in) at Hemlock Overlook, race to Fountainhead, then take shuttle back to vehicle at Hemlock Overlook after the race.

Via mail by printing the EX2 Bushwhacker Adventure Running Race Registration Form and sending a check made payable to: EX2 Adventures.

Entry Fee Includes

Fun and challenging course design, limited race entry (300 racers), professional race operations, race map, wonderful volunteer support, aid stations (stocked with water and Gatorade), medical support, accurate results using e-punch timing system, timely posting of results on the EX2 website, plentiful post-race food, electric atmosphere, great music, awards, and colorful t-shirts (see below).

T-Shirts

High-quality Zorrel t-shirts are distributed at all EX2 events. They have a cotton feel and microfiber Dri-Balance Lifestyle Moisture Transport Technology. All racers that register at least 10 days before the event are guaranteed a t-shirt in their specified size. In an attempt to predict racer participation, we will order some additional t-shirts. However, those registering within 10 days of the event will receive t-shirts while supplies last. If we run out of t-shirts, you can choose one from our vintage stock.

Hi-Res Photos

Adventure Sports Photographers shoot most EX2 races. Their high-resolution digital images and prints of all sizes are made available for purchase post-race (usually within 2-7 days after the event). Click here to view race photos (coming soon).
