Mandatory Gear Required for Each Racer:

• Safety whistle.
• Bushwhacker Map (provided by EX2 at check-in).
• E-punch Timing Key (used at each checkpoint, provided by EX2 at check-in).

Recommended Gear:

• Compass and the knowledge to use it (may be useful if choosing to travel off-trail). Racers choosing to stay on trail will be able to navigate by simply following the blazes on the trail.
• Hydration System (Camelback style hydration pack(s) or water bottle(s)). Water and Gatorade will be available at three aid stations.
• Food / energy bars.
• Waterproof Map Case. This can be anything from a store bought case to a gallon size ziplock bag.
