Quantico Marine Corps Base - Quantico, VA

12 Hours of sweet single-track!

The 12 Hours of Cranky Monkey Mountain Bike Relay challenges solo racers and teams of 2 or 3 to complete as many 10-mile laps as possible in a 12 hour period, from 8am-8pm.

The absolutely stellar trail network on the Quantico Marine Corps Base is only open to civilian use on a few occasions each year…and this is one of them! With wonderful support from the Marines, expansive transition areas, and great amenities, Quantico is the perfect venue to support a 12 hour mountain bike relay race.

This event has been wildly popular since the inaugural year and it will undoubtedly attract similar large numbers and talent in 2010.

Self-selected classes include:

Solo Classes: Solo Female, Solo Male, Solo Male Masters 35+, Solo Male Masters 40+ (NEW CLASS IN 2010), Solo Male Masters 45+, and Solo Single-speed
2 Person Relay Team Classes:
Duo Co-Ed, Duo Female, Duo Male, Duo Male Masters 70+ (combined team age), Duo Male Masters 80+ (combined team age) (NEW CLASS IN 2010), and Duo Single-speed (NEW CLASS IN 2010).
3 Person Relay Team Classes:
Co-Ed, Female, Male, Male Masters 105+ (combined team age), and Male Masters 120+ (combined team age) (NEW CLASS IN 2010).
