Classes:
Classes have been designed to accommodate solo racers, 2 person teams, and 3 person teams. Some classes are skill, gender, equipment, and/or age based but there are several classes open to any racers. All classes are self selected but EX2 reserves the right to move a team to a different class. Please, NO SANDBAGGING in skill based classes.
Solo Classes:
Solo Female - Female only class, restricted to sport or higher caliber racer.
Solo Male - Male only class, restricted to sport or higher caliber racer.
Solo Single-speed - Male or female class, restricted to sport or higher caliber racer and must use a single-speed bike for the duration of the race.
Solo Male Masters 35+ (new class in 2008) - Male only class, at least 35 years old as of 12/31/08, restricted to sport or higher caliber racer.
2 Person Relay Team Classes:
Duo Male - Two males only, not restricted on skill level but recommended for sport or higher caliber racers.
Duo Open - At least one female on the team, not restricted on skill level but recommended for sport or higher caliber racer.
Duo Single-speed - Any combination of male or female, not restricted on skill level but recommended for sport or higher caliber and both racers must use a single-speed bike for the duration of the race.
Duo Masters (new class in 2008) - Combined age of team members must equal 70+ (age as of 12/31/08) with any combination of male or female, not restricted on skill level.
3 Person Relay Team Classes:
Co-Ed – Teams must comprise both genders, not restricted on skill level.
Female – Teams must comprise all females, not restricted on skill level.
Beginner Male – Teams must comprise all males, all racers must be of beginner caliber.
Sport Male – Teams must comprise all males, all racers must be sport or lower caliber.
Expert Male – Teams must comprise all males, all racers must be expert or lower caliber.
Masters – Combined age of team members must equal 105+ (age as of 12/31/08) with any combination of male or female, not restricted on skill level.
Single-speed – Any combination of male or female, not restricted on skill level but all three team members must use a single-speed bike for the duration of the race.
