In addition to bringing back 20 of our 2011 races, The Bushwhacker Adventure Running Race is returning to the lineup and it will include both solo and new relay team divisions, Quantico has signed on to host both the 12 Hrs of Cranky Monkey and one of the Cranky Monkey races, Laurel Hill remains in our Fall BYB series, and the Fountainhead Off-Road Duathlon is back for round two. In the past, many of our races have SOLD OUT weeks or months before race day. So, REGISTER EARLY to save money and guarantee your spot on the starting line. The 2011 EX2 race season wrapped up yesterday with the running of the final 2011 Fall Backyard Burn Trail Running Race at Hemlock Overlook in Clifton, VA. Close to 300 racers enjoyed dry trail conditions and relatively warm December temperatures in the mid 50s as they negotiated a rugged and technical course littered with roots, rocks, and lung busting hills. Congratulations to everyone who took on the challenge of Hemlock and THANK YOU to all racers, volunteers, the park authority, and our sponsors for helping to make it all happen! We are pleased to announce that the 2012 EX2 Race Calendar is now online and registration for all 2012 races will open at 9am on Thursday, December 8th. With 21 action-packed races planned for 2012, it's going to be another awesome year filled with adventure, challenge, and fun!
